Personal:
A chartered certified accountant with over 20 years experience, qualifying in 1998 his experience was gained in public practice specializing in taxation, audit and corporate finance.

Then moving into industry where he spent a number of years managing the finance function of a fast growing company that was both a distribution and retail outlet business with 4 affiliates and operating from 4 different countries.

Richard owns an independent accountancy practice in which he provides consultancy to clients bringing his experience of managing growth orientated companies and ensuring a common sense approach to business issues.
 
Richard has acted for a number of companies as non-executive finance director, involving all the tasks related to the position including maintenance of the management accounting function and ensuring all financial controls are put in place and adhered to. Complementing this is the ability to bring entrepreneurial vision to the role of financial director.
