Anne-Marie graduated from Sydney University with Distinction. She is a member of both The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association
Anne-Marie also belongs to the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice. In addition she completed her Masters Of Business degree in 2003 with distinction at Imperial College London.
Anne-Marie has a keen interest in sports injuries and high performance training. Having worked with premiership rugby teams , triathletes, Royal Ballet dancers , rowers and London Marathon runners, and ultra-marathon runners, Anne-Marie has extensive experience with sports people at a high level. She has also worked in the occupational health and corporate sectors.
Anne-Marie is an athlete herself and has won several gold medals in triathlon events in the UK 1999-2002 and Europe Corporate Games in 2002 and represented Thames Rowing Club reaching the quarter-finals at Henley Rowing Regatta in 2007.
Anne-Marie consults at Body in Motion, Bournemouth International Centre and also lectures in anatomy, sports injuries, sports massage and rehabilitation at Bournemouth College. She also looks after athletes at Bulldog Martial Arts, Poole Athletics Club, Swalings International School of Swimming and Sturminster Marshall Golf Club.
Anne-Marie and Body in Motion will only work with other top health professionals in providing added services to their clients. They choose to work with leading surgeons at Bournemouth Nuffield Hospital and other leaders in the health and fitness sphere.
In addition Anne-Marie and Body in Motion have been featured in several publications including The Daily Echo, Dorset Society and Poole Bay Watch.
Anne-Marie is passionate about health and fitness and believes that a proactive approach to treatment encompassing biomechanics, posture, muscle balance and endurance is essential for attaining the highest outcomes for patients.
